Mancelona's Memorial Day Parade. Line-up begins in front of Dairy Delite on Memorial Day morning, 8:30 a.m. Parade is led by American Legion George Puckett Post #264, with local scouts, veterans, the High School Marching Band. Parade begins at 9:00 a.m. Proceeds to Mancelona Township Library for a service there. Then, continues to Fairview Cemetery (on the northwest corner of M-88 (State Street) and West Limits/Cedar River Road - across from Tri-Gas and Gill Roys). Afer a service there, parade then proceeds south on West Limits Road to St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery near Downey Street for a service. Afterwhich, all may fall out to Star Township Cemetery (located on Alba Road next to Star Township Fire Hall) for a brief service, if desired.
